StarFormer IntimaWave Treatment
StarFormer is a device that enables the rapid and effortless contraction of pelvic floor muscles using High-Intensity Tesla Magnetic Stimulation (HITS).
The StarFormer IntimaWave Treatment selectively contracts muscle tissues, leading to tightening and strengthening of the pelvic muscles. Due to this effect, it has become widely used in recent years, particularly abroad, for the treatment of urinary incontinence. Its applications are now gradually increasing in our country as well. By utilizing HITS technology, it effectively treats urinary incontinence by promoting the strengthening and tightening of pelvic floor muscles.
IntimaWave is gentle and fast, requiring no preparation for the patient. The generated magnetic waves pass through the patient's clothing, skin, and bones without causing any harm, directly stimulating the nerves in deep tissue and inducing regular and rapid muscle contractions. Over time, patients experience increased muscle mass and strength, similar to engaging in intense physical exercise for an extended period.
How Is the Procedure Performed?
The patient remains fully clothed and sits on a specially designed treatment chair. The chair is equipped with two separate applicators, one located in the seat and the other in the backrest. The lower applicator is responsible for contracting the pelvic muscles. The device is activated, and the intensity of the vibrations is adjusted until the patient perceives the muscle contractions at a comfortable level.
